DPSST meeting dates

Over the next few weeks, the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training’s (DPSST) leadership team is planning to visit various locations around the state to share updates on both the criminal justice professional standards program and the training program.

These updates will focus on changes being made that affect law enforcement, corrections, parole and probation, telecommunications, and OLCC.  We invite you to attend one of the sessions listed below and gather the most up to date information from our staff.  We also want to invite you to share your feedback about the programs DPSST offers.  The presenters at these sessions will include Professional Standards Division Director Linsay Hale, Training Division Director Mike Leloff, and Director Eriks Gabliks.   At each of the sessions, DPSST will provide the same information.  DPSST is proud to be the steward of the state’s criminal justice standards and training program and these regional sessions are a great way to share and receive information.

We hope your schedules allow you and your staff to attend.

The goals of the sessions are as follows:

1) To share information on the work of the Board, its various committees, and the agency.

2) To receive feedback from our customers on how we are doing in serving you.

3) To provide a forum through which constituents can ask questions.

Most important, during the we will ask three specific questions:

1) What are we doing well?

2) What can we do better?

3) What are we not doing that we should be?

###

We appreciate everyone’s continued time and assistance.
